Eddie Murphy is not dead despite rumors to the contrary. This is the third or fourth time this year that the actor has been “killed off” by the internet. On Nov. 4, Gossip Cop confirmed that the “Shrek” star is indeed still alive.

                                                    

The claims were made by “Global Associated News”—the place to go for fake death announcements. This time, Murphy was killed in the infamous “snowboarding accident” that so many celebrities fall victim to in their celebrity death hoaxes each year. Amazingly enough, many people believe these ridiculous claims each and every time that they are made. As if everyone in Hollywood snowboards…

Eddie Murphy dead rumors are no stranger to the internet. Sadly he is one of a handful of actors that is faced with these small rumors every couple of months. Other chronic hoax victims include actors Morgan Freeman, Adam Sandler, and Jackie Chan. For one reason or another, these guys are the most targeted by pranksters.

Coincidentally, Murphy was recently supported by Sandler—and other comedians—for the taping of his upcoming special, “Eddie Murphy: One Night Only” (via Gossip Cop). So, in case there is any question, Adam Sandler isn’t dead either. Neither is Morgan Freeman… just to be clear.

Eddie Murphy isn’t dead and hopefully won’t be dead for a long time.
